Think 1st. Quo Vadis Australia?

Before I arrived to Australia from Europe, half of my life I lived on both sides of the Iron Curtain and have had firsthand experience of Marxist/Leninist ideology, as well as the working and the effects of the socialist propaganda apparatus. Curiously, but no surprisingly, the free cultures appeared to be rather fascinated and sympathetic towards the intellectual arguments of the Marxist/Leninist ideologues and even receptive of the socialist propaganda. The citizens of the socialist regimes on the other hand, were quite flummoxed by the West's fascination and sympathy towards oppressive ideologies, which is understandable, since the citizens of the socialist regimes were not afforded the same freedoms to explore, experiment with and even ravel in various ideologies.

When I arrived to Australia 25 years ago, the country offered an unprecedented freedom. That was the time when individuals were free to decide for themselves, without any constrains as to what they wished to do with their life. Australia, together with the USA and very few other countries were recognized as the most free and the most fiercely independent societies, where opportunities were abound for everybody who desired to be part of such societies. Those were the times when whoever arrived to the shores of Australia found greater freedom in Australia than they had in the country they came from. Those were the times when those who came to Australia did not desire to change Australia but desired to change their own lives, integrate into the society, embrace freedoms to start enterprises, take commercial risks, or work for anybody without the constrains imposed by the political elite. Over the last couple of decades however, the left intelligentsia have revisited their founding fathers' "instruction manuals", and have developed a sophisticated propaganda apparatus, which enabled them to create desires in people to change the Australia's once unfettered freedoms. The new agents of change, through a massive propaganda apparatus, have gradually persuaded many Australians, to buy-in into the welfare state mentality, popularizing the notion of giving up some of their liberties in exchange for entitlements through wealth redistribution.

Today, the left elite in Australia and throughout the world perceive that the recent global economic downturn have legitimized the interventionist policies in all spheres of national and global economies. The left has no compunction about elevating the collective interests above the private property and economic individualism. Yet, while promoting social justice, sameness of thinking and redistribution of wealth with great alacrity, the left elite are enjoying the benefits of capitalism and the freedoms afforded to them by the same capitalism. It will not escape any fair minded and avid observer the significant shift to the left. Through a sophisticated, yet relentlessly aggressive propaganda, the ruling political elite have managed to popularize the notion of superiority of collective values above the individualism. It, has made significant inroads into changing the thinking of the populous, especially the thinking of those who have neither seen nor experienced the heavy burden and the constraints of the collectivist mentality. This shift in thinking has cleared the path for Marxism's resurgence, and legitimized the concentration of power in the hands of the political elite.

The question; is there anything that can be done to stop Australia from becoming a socialist caliphate, a welfare state that "knows best" how to manage people's lives? To me and increasingly to a growing number of individuals, the strategy to prevent Australia from sliding into a collective dependency mentality is to establish a dedicated organisation to counter the left's propaganda apparatus. Arguing merely at political and economic levels neither inspires people nor provides an effective counter punch against the left's well oiled propaganda apparatus. I am persuaded that an organization, capable of arguing ardently against the socialist ideology is needed to expose the left's imprecatory ideology and tactics.

Global Freeze, Global Warming, Climate Change, what’s next?

The Left Elite with all of its diverse fringes of extremists and underground SCUMs (Socialists Communists United political Murderers) and SCUTs (Socialists Communists United with echoTerrorists) have been promoting fervently all sorts of man-made troubles and disasters. Why? The answer is rather simple. I'm amazed that I have not heard the following simple answer being even suggested so:

There's nothing anybody can do to stop the natural disasters, however, what's man-made can be reversed; naturally at a huge cost to taxpayers. That cost, however, is revenue for the Left Elite and its comrades of evil and darkens. The bigger the cost, the greater is the revenue. As the Left's appetite for more money and power grew, domestic scope became too narrow; after all in the developed democracies there are still some barriers, limiting corruption.

Aha! The Left Elite exclaimed; if they (the Left Elite) can transfer moneys to corrupt regimes they would have no trouble clawing back most of the moneys transferred to the 3^rd world and 2^nd world countries under various pretences of climate change and so forth. It is for this reason that the Left is so keen to blame the "rich" nations for all the troubles, forcing the advanced economies to transfer billions and even trillions of dollars to countries from which the Left would have no trouble embezzling the moneys for their own devious purposes.

ISP side Internet Pornography Filter (IPF) – The cost of consequences - Draft

The following article is an edited excerpt from a draft policy documen I wrote.

Preamble:

Much has been written, researched and debated on the merits of ISP side filtering of pornography content. Most debates focus on the technical feasibility, the costs associated with content filtering, and whether a democratic government can legitimately prohibit its citizens from publishing or consuming adult content, and raising the issue on what constitutional basis the state is empowered to use coercive powers to deny the freedom of any individual. Such issues and questions have been studied and debated so extensively that it would add no further value to re-visit these aspects again. In this paper therefore, I will approach the filtering issue from the perspective of the cost of the consequences of Internet Pornography Filter (IPF).

The Internet:

One can hardly appreciate the implications of any issues relating to the Internet without clearly understanding what Internet is about. It is very difficult to de-couple any part of the content from the entire content without significant consequences.

To appreciate the complexity of the Internet it worth visiting the OPTE Project's website. There you'll find a visual map representation of the Internet in 2005. Since then, the Internet and the WWW has grown so vast and complex, that evidently, updated image maps are no longer produced. The square section in the bottom right corner of the Internet map (Courtesy of the Opte Project) is an amplified dot on the Internet, illustrating the Internet's vastness and complexity. To put it bluntly it is dilussional to believe an IPF can be an effective solution to content filtering.

The Cost of the Consequences of Internet Pornography Filter

Every decision has consequences. Whilst there has been much debate about social and moral implications of pornography, there has been no significant debate on the consequences of adult content prohibition. Failure to consider consequences will unfailingly lead to unintended and unpleasant consequences.

Consider this: some estimates suggest that the global annual online adult industry turnover is over $200 Billion. Only a fool would think that the adult content producers, actors, supplementary industries and distributors would just roll over and give up such income stream. Oh No! They will fire back with vengeance and will attack every entity which has had anything to do with curtailing their revenue stream. The adult content industry employs some of the most talented technicians and programmers. It leads the online world both in technological innovations and marketing – push technology – creativity. Fighting the adult industry with technology is not only futile but outright silly. A study published by Steven McDermot at the Institute of Communications Studies at University of Leeds concluded: "The pornography industry is regarded as one of the most advanced in terms of utilizing technology and now major corporations are attempting to profit from this…" In the same paper McDermot quotes: "A survey conducted by the British ISP Homecall, found that 23 per cent of UK residents are getting broadband in order to access pornography, and it is the most important factor when getting broadband (Orlowski, 2004). The pornography industry is important to the Internet because of its consumption of bandwidth (Zook, 2003). Pedue (cited Zook, 2003) estimates that the pornography industry pays US $1.9 billion for bandwidth carges per annum." The way broadband is growing this figure today would be closer to $5 billion

The point here is this; the adult industry has the means not only to defend itself but has the means and the tools to counter attack anybody who's foolish enough to attack its revenue stream. The pornography industry will unleash an unprecedented wave of worms, defacement of websites, theft, corruption and destruction of critical and sensitive operational and client data. They will unleash a tsunami of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) via multiple proxy hosts and servers which makes it impossible to determine who the perpetrator was. The pornographers will spread porn, including vile and violent pornography to areas which they never targeted before. Schools, libraries, church websites, government websites will be hijacked, defaced with vile pornography images, corporate and governmental Intranets and email servers will be clogged up with pornography. They will unleash a pornography plague.

Furthermore, government will not find keen and technically competent allies to fight the pornography plague. One should remember that one of the major revenue streams for ISPs is the sale of broadband. Pornography industry alone pays billions to ISPs for broadband. Large proportions of Internet surfers purchase broadband just because of adult content. ISPs will not be keen to cut off one of their major revenue streams nor will they be keen to limit their fastest growing segment – broadband.

The consequences of filtering adult content will be twofold:

Huge cost of defending the ISP's infrastructure, data, services and content. Add to this restoration of damaged content, off-line disaster recovery – if not damaged by the hackers as well. The cost of IPF system will be miniscule compared to the cost of defending websites against atacks.
Spread on a massive scale of pornographic content throughout a wide spectrum of the Internet and in particular throughout websites which object to the adult content. Public places like schools, libraries, etc. will also be defaced and flooded with porn images.

The Social consequences of IPF:

If one to accept the ALP's reasoning or intention for IPF is to protect the Internet users from pornographers, than the actual outcome will be exactly the opposite. Pornography will proliferate throughout the society faster than the toxic blue-green algae. Let's consider some of the social consequences.

Over the years the Internet has evolved into both medium and media, which in its unregulated form is loved and admired by most people. This unregulated property is cherished by all social scientists, researchers, academics, natural scientists, human rights advocates, students, and other passionate activist groups as well as by the majority of users all around the world. Any attempt to even challenge the independence of the Internet or even regulate a small part of it will galvanize even the most unlikely groups into a potent force to defend the Internet's independence, unregulated content flow - regardless of the content's moral value. Internet content filtering will band together groups of people, activist organizations and supporters of porn industry into a powerful coalition, which will challenge both the government and the ISP industry on several fronts: technological, social and legal – challenging government's right to deny individual's rights to free choices.

Pornographers will be joined by hackers and activists who will be only too eager to attack Government and ISP sites both for fun and as a protest. Baring content on a server side will unleash a backlash from all who feel that such an action from a democracy, tantamount to reversing democracy, limiting free speech and free expression, and free access to information and content. One must understand the online community. Undisturbed, the online community is pretty well self-regulated, it is a very lose and fluid community; however, if disturbed it will morph itself into a united, solid, and unbelievably powerful e-force, driven by passion, technical know-how and utter disdain for any kind of restriction on the Internet.

An example: the Peacefire activist group is providing a free software tool which will circumvent pornography filters. Peacefire has a subscriber list of 7,000. They have released the tool as a response to a bill passed by US Congress requiring libraries to block pornography. Their motive: "This Web site was created because we don't accept the excuses for treating minors with fewer rights than convicted felons." And "Smut on the Internet - you're going to be harmed more by eating a hamburger than by seeing a picture of two people having sex,"

The US Government paired up with a known activist - Bennett Haselton - who was strongly opposing content filtering in libraries to use his circumventor software to circumvent the most tightly controlled internet censorship in the world: China. Indeed this is highly effective circumventor software and is available for free download from Bennett Haselton's website: How to install the Cirmumventor program, which gets around all Web-blocking software. Although it was designed to use to circumvent the Chinese internet blocking it is effective for any type and kind of content blocking, and indeed is widely used to access pornographic sites from China. Even though China strictly prohibits access to porn, the biggest consumption of pornography happens to be in China..

Legal Implications:

No doubt the censorship will be challenged in various courts in Australia. We may end up with courts ultimately defending the child pornography as it turned out to be in a decision by the US Supreme Court when it upheld a lower court injunction against enforcement of the Child Online Protection Act (COPA) stating: "there is a potential for extraordinary harm and a serious chill upon protected speech". http://epic.org/free_speech/copa/

Political Consequences:

As the storm over the IPF rages on, the pressure on the government to rescind the IPF legislation will mount. Eventually the Government, in order to appease the left activist groups will promise not to filter all of the adult content, only the most "harmful and explicit" content and to assure the activist groups, the Government will offer to protect the individual's rights through an Australian bill of rights. Bill of rights that Australia does not need, especially, since such a bill would be crafted by the Left Elite. The backlash over the IPF will serve as a trigger for the ALP to introduce a bill of rights, and many will fall for such shameless tactic.

We must not be fooled into believing that the answer to the pornography scorch is an IPF. We must deprive the pornography industry from gaining wider acceptance, recognition and sympathy in light of the Big Brother Centrist Governments' regressive actions.

The issue of censorship of pornography is highly charged, complex and has been debated for long time and will continue to live passionate life forever. We must fight the ALP at every opportunity and not allow ALP to immerse the country into this horrid policy, which will only drive more people to the side of the pornographers, whilst squandering immense amount of resources. We must make sure that pornography does not become a rights issue, leading eventually to an elitist bill of rights crafted by the ALP. Soon after such a bill we will see formation of AMBLA (Australian Men/Boy Love Association), fashioned to the image of NAMBLA (North American Men/Boy Love Association), protecting the rights of pedophiles.

IPF is not only an ill conceived, dangerous and astronomically costly, it is outright stupid, unless of course the IPF policy is just a smokescreen to ALP's conspiracy to introduce a bill of rights molded in the far left's image.

What a grotesque statement this is; as if prior the past 30 years, Australia was managed by a centralized planning system. Mr. Rudd continued: "Government is not the intrinsic evil that neo-liberals have argued it is. Government, properly constituted and properly directed, is for the common good, embracing both individual freedom and fairness, a project designed for the many, not just the few." Such retro-socialist rhetoric is achingly similar to: "I want the authority; I want everyone to keep the property he has acquired for himself according to the principle: benefit to the community precedes benefit to the individual." Malcolm Turnbull: "The big business is cuddling up to the Rudd/Labour; the big business is feeling intimidated by the Labour". Sadly, he is right. Many corporate boards have abdicated their duty to conduct business freely, their fierce independence has dissipated and their courage to stand up to the Unions' and Government's bullying has evaporated. Have the wise and upright corporate stewards been replaced by weasels, who tremble at the sound of ALP's gnashing teeth, morphing once free and independent enterprises into ALP cash cows? Barak Obama: "We don't want to stifle innovation but I'm convinced that by setting out clear rules of the road and ensuring transparency and fair dealing, we will actually promote a more vibrant market. This principle is at the heart of the changes we're proposing…" What a nonsense! Clear, aka strict rules stifle innovation; they do not stimulate competition. By definition innovation is something that is outside bounds. Clear rules allow no serendipity or creativity, which are the heart beat of innovation and breakthrough discoveries. Transparency and fair dealing? I know of not one instance where state's involvement in the corporate dealings lead to greater transparency and fairness. On the contrary, once the state gets involved, forget about transparency and fair dealing.

For some time, it's been fashionable to blame the "weak" regulations in the US financial system for all the domestic and global economic ills. The elitist media and the left's propagandists have been drooling at the stumbling of the capitalist order. Yet, it is the "weak" regulations which made US the only global military and economic superpower, and a supremely progressive nation - the envy of the world. However, the ugly heads of the envy from all over the world have arisen, as they salivate with wicked glee at the stumbling of the free enterprise and democratic capitalism. The critics miss the fact is that each stumbling is essentially a process of correction, adjustment and purification of the free enterprise capitalism; the best social and economic system, albeit imperfect one. In free societies, stumblings, falls and break-downs are self-regeneration mechanisms, where the best minds, the most competitive innovations and the best, and most honorable business practices win. Centrally planned economies and authoritarian regimes are incapable of such self-restoration, hence; the political elite will never admit any wrongdoing nor will it ever match the quality and the wisdom of the free enterprise, eventually leading to poverty as the authoritarian bureaucrats squander nation's wealth and kill off opportunities for the entrepreneurs.

Rudd lectures on Capitalism

Mr.Rudd: "It is perhaps time now to admit that we did not learn the full lessons of the greed is good ideology. And today we are still cleaning up the mess of the 21st Century children of Gordon Gekko" If anything to admit, it is that many did not learn the full lessons of the labor ideology. Few facts first:

Mr. Rudd is too loose with his lips. His essays and his pronouncements on economy suggest he is either not well versed in the dynamics of the economic drivers, or he's an opportunistic political manipulator rather than a statesman.
Gekko was a crook, a cheat and a liar. He was, however, exposed, caught and paid a heavy price for his crime.
Has anybody heard of Gekkos within the Socialist regimes, let alone ever being caught and punished? Bingo!

One must be a complete imbecile to believe that Gekkos are products of the capitalist system only. Gekko types are not unique; you'll find them everywhere. But only the capitalist system catches and deals with them; Period. So Mr.Rudd, what lessons have you learned after inheriting record surpluses from capitalists? Now that you have been "clued up", what solutions are you offering or pursuing? Let me guess: switch to socialism and voilà, no more of greedy Gekkos, Maddofs, Enrons, GEs, ABC Childcare Centres, Rivkins. Wow! What a bliss, want a workers' paradise! Undoubtedly the Prime Minister, can point to plenty of inspiring alternative examples for capitalist free social paradise where the motto is: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"* including rationed liberty: Cuba, Venezuela, China, North Korea, Zimbabwe, Iran, Libya. The list of Gekko and Maddof "free" countries is impressive indeed. Let's learn the lesson fully and join the happy family of centrally manipulated societies. Oops did I say manipulated? Well you know what I mean: benevolently managed by dear leaders. This is not a new idea from our dear PM. This is another "me too Gough Whitlam" performance, who attempted to transform Australia into a Socialist "Democracy". The difference is that the current GG (read more about her in the Right Pulse) is of the same ilk as the PM.

There are many lessons we have been through; some we chose to ignore, forgot the others, and still some we refused to heed - often the most critical ones. The most sinister regimes reshape history lessons to suite the regime's purposes; such phony lessons seem to be the most keenly learnt and heeded.

Noah Webster, the author of the first edition of the Webster dictionary wrote this:

I see many unprincipled men and women occupying high office, elected by the citizens of democratic states. Have the citizens neglected their Duty? Not all. Unprincipled men and women do get elected because of citizens' ignorance, such ignorance is cultivated and exploited by the media and the Retro Dems' propaganda machine. It is the vast media apparatus, the political elite, and the spineless oligarchs who are guilty in the neglect of their duty. The rest of the citizens are just ignorant. I see this is happening right now! Don't you?

The synthesis of the brain numbing pop-culture and the non-stop shallow rhetoric, popularised by the above mentioned groups, is a vice-like grip on many citizens' cognition. And whilst the minds of citizens are in a mental vice, the elite groups are free to mold and shape the citizens' attitudes according to their selfish and corrupt desires; channelling the ignorant minds to an idiosyncratic and limited space, where citizens' ability to discern is largely disabled. So all together now:

Ignorance, however repugnant and damaging may be is not an illegal state of mind. Moreover, the left elite is promoting ignorance as a blissful state of mind. What concerns me most however, is that if we continue along this "blissful" path, the ignorance will eventually become mandated, and the plastic thinking paradigm will supersede free thinking.

Obama; massive, never seen before scandal but he will survive the call for impeachment.
Obama is a 1 term president.
Rudd will run up deficit in excess or half a trillion dollars.
GST 12.5% before in the 2nd term of Rudd's tenure - if he makes it to the 2nd term. I predicted the GST hike after Rudd's victory.
Laws will be introduced to limit the freedom of speech, freedom of expression and the independence of the Internet.
The Internet will not be independent. Google and other giant Internet operators will sell off to authorities; first to dictatorships, than to other left governments.
China's Ponzi scheme will unravel within a year or two. The US Ponzi scheme will pale into insignificance compared to the Chinese Ponzi.
The so far "astonishing" Chinese GDP growth will collapse. This will be especially painful since the Chinese GDP measures output rather than consumption, hence the massive industrial production growth far outstrips the consumption both domestically and globally. Such central mismanagement is not new. It's the hallmark of the Socialist planning economy, where output is the driver not the demand/consumption. Until recently it worked for China. Now that the worlds consumption of Chinese goods and services has fallen, the inflexible Chinese industry is still churning out mountains of unwanted goods. There you go Mr. Rudd.
Chinese Com Party together with the rest of the left all over the world will blame - naturally - the capitalism for the collapse of the state staged and managed economy.
Mr. Rudd will declare the Chinese economic bust is just another proof of the unrestrained capitalism, even if the bust happened in China.
The Chinese economic bust will result in huge layoffs. The centrally mismanaged economy will precipitate massive popular upraise in the rural areas. The Communist regime will slaughter the dissidents. The socialism adoring major media outlets will only briefly mention the event. Neither the EU nor the US will do much in response.
Within 5 years, China will attack and annex Taiwan.
Within 5 years, Russia will annex Crimea. China and Russia most likely will coordinate their respective attacks to render any international rhetoric mawkish. Neither US nor EU will take any military or economic actions.
Chavez will transform Venezuela into a complete Socialist dictatorship. There will be no open elections next time.
Iranians will beg US to help them to depose Ahmadinejad. US won't.

Obama, is delivering the "goodies" simpletons, ignoramus, the hyenas of the left as well as many well meaning but naive people were crying out for: retreat and defeat of the USA.
With his extreme left policies he has precipitated a chain of events within the USA which will disempower the US as a significant stabilizing power. The internal tensions will grow so serious that the US will be preoccupied with it's own tensions, thus will not be able to project any power, military or otherwise anywhere in the world. Such power paralysis will be exploited by Russia and China in a deliberate & coordinated fashion; Russia will annex Crimea and perhaps Georgia, whilst China will make a move on Taiwan. Afghanistan will be lost to the Taliban by virtue of yielding to the Taliban and integrating it into the central government without any significant compromise from the hard core Taliban. Shortly thereafter the Taliban will rule absolutely. And the US will do nothing. Who knows maybe even Argentina will be tempted to mount a new campaign for the Falklands.

The destruction of the absolute Liberty – the progressive's chief sin

For some time, I've been observing the decline of Liberty in Australia. Growing up in USSR, from early childhood I had a vision of Liberty (as I was a faulty product of a "glorious" Soviet Leninist/Marxist ideology, it never impregnated me). As I grew, my vision of Liberty broadened, and by the accounts of my contemporaries – my parents including - it turned into an absurd and outrageous vision… That is until I arrived to Australia in 1986. The Liberty I found in Australia then, was beyond even my "radical" imagination of Liberty. What I found on my arrival was a perfect and absolute Liberty. Whatever imperfections I encountered then, I attributed them to my own shortcomings. Since 9/11, however, I've been observing with distress how the singular and absolute Liberty has been replaced with many relative liberties. The absolute Liberty is now painted as an aberration, "progressive" minds should shun. The "progressive" elite, through the education system and the degenerative Socialist pop-culture, has instilled in the minds of many a disdain for absolutes. This perverted disdain for the absolute Liberty and love for a mutant classless democracy has morphed the depravity and despotism into quasi subsets of "relative democracies", where "liberties" are rationed by the politburo to sections of the society according to quotas and criteria set by the despots. The highest quota of liberty of course is afforded to the activist Socialist elite. In essence, the Socialist elite, through mass media and academia has exploited the absolute Liberty to pervert the notion of absolute Liberty, and has degenerated the purity and the nobleness of the absolute Liberty. So what's the aim of the Socialist's elite? There are many complex answers to this simple question. Ask any Socialist academic and he/she will begin with something like: "to create universal equality and happiness for all". Greens will augment this with something stupid like: "universal equilibrium between the nature and the humankind". Pressed to expound their understanding of universality, the Socialists will unleash the Marxist dogma. Their aim however, is quite straightforward: Create a "classless" social order, where there's only one class exists, with the elite ideologues are empowered as guardians of the classless regime. Anyone disagreeing with this view will be considered as the enemy of the social order, hence must be "liquidated".

Why the progressive elite is so bent on destroying the absolute Liberty? First of all let me state simply that there are evil people. Then, there are unconscionably but astutely corrupt individuals who are prepared to prop up any regime for gain. The purely evil is hungry for unbridled power, and the astutely corrupt sees endless gain opportunities in the afflictions the evil is inflicting unto its subjects. It is the convergence of these two streams which is so destructive.

The loss of absolute Liberty has become so evident, that there's now much talk about it. I disagree however, with the popular supposition, mainly from the Right, that economic progress brings progress in liberty, hence the more effective the application of the economic progress the more liberated are those who attain higher economic growth. I see no evidence of this anywhere in the history to support such supposition. It is the Liberty first that brings progress both in social and in economic terms. Ironically, the same Liberty that brings progress also allows the promulgation of the anti-Liberty views and affords the enemies of Liberty the freedom to pursue their wicked agenda, namely the perversion of the absolute Liberty.

I also question the validity of the notion of grass roots activism as an effective vehicle to spread, defend or reclaim Liberty. If anything, the grass-root movements favored the spread of tyrannies. Liberty stands for freedom and liberty of individual not a collective. A free society means every individual is free. It is reasonable therefore to deduce that unless free men and women perceive their freedoms are in jeopardy and to the same extent, there's little else there powerful enough to band the free for a common cause. If history is any guide than only the oppressed and the manipulated who band vigorously for a political cause. This will explain why the Left is so much more effective in harnessing grass roots support for their cause. The Left has monopolized most of the communications channels and educational institutions through which it has instilled in the subliminal layers of individuals' minds the corrupt ideology, which is triggered by events or manipulative mass excitement techniques, and clarion calls for "social justice" to which many respond. Those who stand for freedom cannot employ such tactics, for such deceptive practices are anathema to the ideals of Liberty. So is the situation for the Liberty is hopeless? Not hopeless, but the future does look rather bleak. I do not discard the idea of mobilizing the grassroots support for the Right. However, the mobilization will not be effective, without an effective engagement with the Right's support base. Think tanks can help; however, they are not the answer to effective and efficient engagement with the core supporters.

Scanning the history of revolutions and great upraises, it is inescapable that the Left's ideological machine of all ages have been manipulating the populous exceedingly effectively – especially the vulnerable, the less educated, the insular migrants, the indigenous, the disaffected, the socio-economically disadvantaged, the brain washed intelligentsia, and of course the general fool - by blaming the independent, the free and the entrepreneurs for all the social and economic ills. Moreover the Left has craftily created a perpetual state of "white guilt" whereby many, by the goodness of their hearts have succumbed to the Left's propaganda of "evils" of the past colonialism.

At the same time the left has crafted propaganda slogans of promises of bright and care free future. All these powerful manipulative enablers evoke powerful emotional responses. I have never heard of a slogan or a billboard reading something like: "Literacy is the path to Capitalism". Such slogan would be a blatant lie. The Left never shied away from such grandiose slogans. We, on the Right, however, cannot turn to such wicked tactics.

So, is there anything we, on the conservative side can do? Yes! Absolutely! We have on our side the two most powerful things: the Truth & the Liberty. Beware, however, the moment the Truth and Liberty are used for manipulation, they cease to be Truth and Liberty. Whilst the Truth and Liberty are not the most "efficient" in mobilizing the masses, nevertheless they are most noble and forever enduring.

Mr. Rudd quibbled on air: "Basically I was in a state of induced panic," at the prospect of appearing live with Bruno. Why Bruno, the quintessential fake fashionista strikes panic into our PM's heart? Uber excitement, of fear of exposure? Isn't our PM super courageous; he's not afraid of the huge influx of illegals, he doesn't seem to be phased at all at the prospect of half a trillion or more dollars in national debt, nor he seems to be moved by the high rate of unemployment. So what's that, that strikes fear in the PM's heart? Perhaps the PM was petrified at the prospect of kissing Bruno's finger in public, or coming out of the closet admitting he's a phony pony? Perhaps the PM was petrified that people will take seriously what Bruno has revealed: "The reason I'm late is I just had breakfast in bed with Kevin Rudd. That guy is like, uber cute. I thought Obama was, like, the hottest guy in the world until I met Kevin."

It's obvious even to the butt kissing mainstream miserable journos that both Bruno and the PM are phony, except whilst Bruno is flaunting his fakeness, PM is still pretending to be a genuine – you know, like "me too fiscal conservative" kind of a guy. Now, this makes him pitiful and that's not good for Australia.

Rudd’s One-Armed Bandit Machine

Rudd's economy stimulus package is like a malfunctioning one-armed bandit slot machine or like a classic Socialist State owned and operated machine. Drop a coin and it will return nothing, but shake it, hit it, kick it and it will spew out and squander billions. So, where do the billions came from to fill the one-armed bandit in the first instance? And where do the refills are coming from? Well, in the first instance, the billions came from the Federal Treasury’s coffers, filled by the John Howard lead government. However, in a blink of an eye, the one-armed bandit was "robbed" of all the billions put into it. Now the one-armed bandit is continuously filled with borrowed cash. Right now the hitting, shaking and kicking of the slot machine is perceived as working, hence it is popular.

As with all Socialist vending machines, with every drop of a coin into its enterprises, the Government owned/operated one-armed bandit robs the players. But some consistently hit the jackpot. So who are they; who are the shrewd players who know how to kick, shake and hit the bandit? Simple: the union bosses, left interest groups, and the owner of the one-armed bandit – the Government. It is however quite bizarre to observe, that the bandit is robbing his owner; the state never gets a penny out of its slot machine. But than again it doesn't seem as though the owner of the bandit cares.

The practice of installing and operating a one-armed economic bandit on huge scale is not a new “thing”. The Socialist states have been robbing their own people and squandering national assets for decades. In Australia, it was the Socialist triumvirate of Gough Whitlam the Socialist stalwart Bill Hartley - yes the despiser of Jews, the hater of individual liberties and the lover of tyrants like the fascist Saddam Hussein; and the shrewed and slippery David Combe - yes the one also sucked up to Saddam Hussein as well as allegedly compromised Australia's National security when dealing with Soviets. Aided by the Hartley / Combe comrades and supported by the vast left propaganda network, Gough set out to create and operate a slot machine which would bring about an Australian Socialism Paradise based on grand promises and deceptions and propped up by massive "gifts" from Middle East tyrants, favorite among them being Saddam Hussein.

So what's next? Well, if you believe Mr. Rudd and his economic team, than you have nothing to worry about! The many hard working Australian tax payers, who are apparently willing to play the one-armed bandit, will one day wing big; so says Mr. Rudd. He sure managed to outdo all his ALP predecessors in racking up debts others wouldn't even dream about; in fact nobody would've dreamed about.

Flogging the Capitalism, Intimidating Democracy, Fooling the Populous

Malcolm Turnbull: "The big business is cuddling up to the Rudd/Labor; the big business is feeling intimidated by the Labor". Sadly Turnbull's statement rings true. The corporate boards' courage to conduct business freely and the fierce independence have dissipated. Have the wise and upright corporate stewards been replaced by weasels, who tremble at the sound of ALP's gnashing teeth, thus morphing once free and independent enterprises into ALP cash cows? Is it possible that sucking up to the bullying tactics of the ALP and the Unions is now an acceptable management practice taught and promoted as a successful strategy for building wealth?

Tim Geithner: "Our system failed in its most important missions for protecting consumers and providing stability" What is he talking about? System of democratic Government? The economic system of free enterprise, i.e. Capitalism? Who are the consumers Geithner is referring to who need Obama administration's protection? Are they the mismanaged big banks, financial institutions and massively failed auto industry? Perhaps ACORN needs protection? And protection against what or whom; free capitalism, entrepreneurs?

Barak Obama: "This is a difficult time for our nation. But from this period of challenge, we can once again tap those values and ideals that have allowed us to lead the global economy, and will allow us to lead once again. That's how we'll help more Americans live their own dreams. That's why these reforms are so important." HellO! The values and the ideals that made US greatest; both economic and in democratic governance terms have nothing in common with the proposed reforms. On the contrary, those values and ideals existentially incompatible with the reforms the Obama administration is instituting. Whilst the centralized controls and state mandated planning can't stop people from dreaming, those dreams cannot be turned into realities and lived within the Obama's boundaries. Ok; dare to dream, dare not to live those dreams.

Barak Obama: "We don't want to stifle innovation but I'm convinced that by setting out clear rules of the road and ensuring transparency and fair dealing, we will actually promote a more vibrant market. This principle is at the heart of the changes we're proposing…" The statement, whilst appears to be compelling, it has only propaganda value. It is in fact nonsense. Clear, aka strict rules stifles innovation, and do not stimulate true competition. By definition innovation is something that is outside bounds. Clear rules allow no serendipity, which is the heart beat of any significant innovation and breakthrough discoveries. Transparency and fair dealing?? I'd like to know one, at least one case where the state's involvement in the corporate dealings lead to greater transparency and fairness. Give me one example. Once the state gets involved, forget about transparency and fair dealing; sure, you will see massive corruption and impenetrable smoke screens and tricks.

Much has been made out of the "weak" regulations in the US financial system. However, for generations, it is the "weak" regulations which made US strongest and kept the USA a supremely progressive nation, a global power house; being the envy of the world. However, the ugly heads of the envy from all over the world have arisen, and now are salivating with wicked glee at the stumbling of the free society. The fact is that the stumblings are corrections, adjustments and purifications the best system, albeit imperfect one. Stumblings, falls and break-downs in free societies are self-improvement mechanisms. Planned economies and authoritarian regimes are incapable of such self-restoration, hence; the political elite will never match the quality and the wisdom of the free society. Alarmingly however, many in the free world are sucking up to the propaganda for the glorious centralization and collectivization, whilst flogging the "broken" capitalism. Gradually, relegating much political control to left's elite is becoming an attractive proposition to many. I am concerned that we are giving to the politbureau a mandate to plan the entire economy, and without much resistance; in fact many are marching enthusiastically to the Obama's drum beat.

Shock-and-Awe of Massive ALP Debt

Mr Rudd’s debt based stimulus package is shaping up as an economic disaster. In record time, he has built a Massive ALP Debt (MAD) or simply a Mother of All Debts. The ALP’s pursuit of Socialistic strategies, has wiped out Australia’s debt free status, pulverized the massive surplus, destroyed Australia’s reputation as finest economic and fiscal steward, and cracked Australia’s resilience against global downturns; all inherited from the conservative government. Mr. Rudd’s policies appear to drift towards the Whitlam dream of a benevolent state; reliance on state’s handouts, supremacy of State over individual’s rights, social engineering of individual’s behaviour, collectivization of individual thoughts, denigration of individualism and fostering class antagonism. Labor’s claim of looking after the “hard working families, single moms and the working class” is classic Marxist rhetoric. The entrepreneurs are labelled, albeit subliminally, as speculators and bourgeoisie, who are to be blamed for the “excesses of rampant capitalism”, precipitating the current economic crisis, necessitating massive debt programs to stimulate the economy and to save the jobs of the struggling, hard working families.

Whilst raising taxes is the favourite left’s favourite economic past time, right now, debt funded stimulus adventure seems to be most favoured instrument for wealth spread “redistribution”. And so, ALP has lit the MAD fuse. Unless however, the fuse is cut, Australia will be treated to an unimaginable economic Shock-and-Awe blast, leaving a deep financial crater in the Australian economy, cutting the living standards of Australians, and leaving deep scars in families’ prosperity psyche. The dire consequences of such reckless debt blast however, will be borne not only by future generations, but also by the current one. Once the debt blast is set off, the collapse of the nation’s prosperity will be swift, deep and far reaching, and higher taxes will become a justifiable instrument to manage the massive national debt. The proposition that the current generation somehow will be shielded from the ill conceived spending adventure, whilst the future generation will get over it through unprecedented future growth is beyond fanciful, it is plain stupid. It is a political and economic nonsense; nonetheless, it is a dangerous one. It is loaded with ideologically driven predictions about unprecedented growth. In fact Mr. Rudd’s spending adventure, coupled with a lofty rhetoric provides only a short term relief from the economic pain. Make no mistake; the current generation will suffer just as much if not more than the future generation, if the ALP is not stopped from detonating its MAD. At the next Federal election, Australians could defuse ALP’s MAD, just as they diffused the Keating debt blast in 1996. Otherwise as Abraham Lincoln once said: “Elections belong to the people. It is their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.”

Left unchecked, ALP’s MAD will set back Australia’s current and future prosperity progress for decades. Moreover, future generations will call the current generation to account, and rightly so! For it was under this generation’s watch that ALP’s MAD was detonated. The future generation will not carry all the burden of heavy debt alone. Today’s generation’s retirement benefits, healthcare and other social services will be cut as a price for its electoral misjudgement. It is still not too late to defuse ALP’s MAD, however, Australians must sober up and not join in with the Socialist elite in the intoxicating champagne parties, for as a wise saying goes: “It is champagne at night and real pain in the morning”.

A New Obama Nation

It's been reported by some White House officials that the Obama administration is in delicate negotiations with the government of Palau to transfer 17 Uighurs (WEE'-gurz) gitmo inmates to Palau. As part of the deal, US is offering Palau a US$200 million aid package. All commentators are fascinated with the huge amount, but one significant aspect has escaped their minds.

Those detainees are a product of the violent form of Islam. Once they are in Palau, they'll be working on turning that tiny nation into an Islamic nation. Finances, weapons and indoctrination resources (schools, mosques, hospitals, laws and other islamic social establishments) will be provided by the Al-Qaeda network, as well as other wealthy Islamic institutions and governments. By sending the gitmo detainees to Palau, President Obama will sow seed of a new Islamic state: call it Al Islamia Palau. It is likely that some of the US$200 million will find its way into the hands of the New Obama Nation's "builders". The consequences for creating such a New Obama Nation... I'll leave it to your imagination, that is if you can imagine.

Political laboratory of the left's elite

The difference in political behavior between the Conservative Right and the Progressive Left - whether in a free democracy or in a transitory to full socialism (Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia) - is quite different.

The western democracies’ far left is existentially a product of a doctrinal synthesis of sublime Che and Mao pop-culture, Marxist/Leninist doctrine, a subliminal hate filled Nazi supremacist propaganda, and a covert anti-Semitic / anti-Zionist rhetoric; all packaged for consumption as a heroic struggle for the rights of the working class and the oppressed minorities. The bitter protagonists of the left ideology are void of absolute moral dimension: right v wrong, righteous v unrighteous, honest v dishonest, virtuous v wicked, upright v gutless. The left ideologues treat the social and political environments as their laboratory, and the people within it as test subjects to experiment upon; primarily to develop effective mass conditioning techniques. The far left's moral relativism has become the chief corner stone of their social engineering and mass conditioning efforts; hence they do not see the degradation of individual’s liberties and the degeneration of free capitalist enterprise as a moral and social crisis. Concentration of power, centralized planning of production and education, and the collectivization of wealth has been promoted as a panacea to all the global and social ills created by the capitalist order, the individualists and the free entrepreneurs.

For decades the western left has been hard at work promoting the universal numbing of the free thought and spirit as a way to coerce individuals into submission to social equilibrium in a Global Village, where everybody is equally a village fool, and they all share equally the outputs regardless of the individual input and efforts. It is interesting to observe how the Obama’s catch slogan “Yes We Can!” appeals to so many. The sublime response to the “We Can” notion appears to have cleared the path to an Obama style Collective Democratic Socialism experiment; the goal of which is to morph individual free thinkers into a collective, lazy and submissive brain, controlled by a central authority. The “Yes I Can!” slogan was never considered.

Of course, such social and political experimentation is not new. Every time however, without exception, from their political laboratories, the left has released most violent demagogues, ideological monsters, political degenerates and loyal party apparatchiks incapable of seeing through their masters’ horrid machinations.

Ultimately, in their political expressions, the left elite, has masterfully crafted policies to retrofits the truth, gaining votes, obtaining grants to fund the Socialist activism and gaining political power, thus justifying what they have decided to be the universal truth. In all of this, the left elite sees no human tragedy, regardless of the outcome of their social engineering experimentation.

What differentiates Conservatives Right from the Progressive Left is their DNA values. The Conservative Right ideology is based on Judeo Christian values, as were established by principled men and women. This is not to claim that the Conservatives are flawless, however, the ideological DNA of the Progressive Left’s is tyranny, whilst the Conservative Right’s DNA is liberty..
